Address Bar Deleting

I cannot clear two web sites from my address bar. They are websites of the
federal government that I clicked on after a search on google.

I've tried clearing the history, files, cookies, content,...I've cleared the
forms and passwords...I've even gone to the control panel and done the same...
nothing has worked...any suggestions?

If I remember correctly, some gov web sites placed cookies on users computers
that stayed in the cookies folder for about 80 yrs. The government recently
discovered the error and corrected (they stopped placing the cookies on
computers), however I don't know whether or not you can delete the cookies
normally.

Try going to the government's main web site and search for thing related to
cookies. If it is because of their error, they might have a solution to your
problem.

IEHistoryView allows to delete the selective URL while keeping the rest
of the URLs intact.
