Additional Domain controller

S

skippy

I had an additional domain controller crash on me.
Granted this DC was just for redundency it was not a
Global Catalog or DNS server. I'm wondering what I would
have to do to get it back to a domain controller. I did
not get a chance to successfully demote it from AD.

Dependant on the crash, you can repair and then bring it back online. AD
will bring it up to date automatically. You could also rebuild it and then
dcpromo which will add it new into ad. If you elect to do this then you must
remove all instances of the old DC from the domain.
