Adding the alias field to my inbox columns

I would like to add the 'alias' field as an extra column to my inbox view (this can be seen if you view the properties of a contact in the address book).

I understand you can add fields by using the field chooser, but having tried this, it doesn't appear to allow you to use fields stored in the Oulook address book.

You can add a custom field using the field chooser, but again i am unsure as to whether or not this allows you to add in the 'alias' field from the Outlook address book.

Is there code i can use to add in these types of fields?

Would be grateful for any help.
