Adding sounds and pictures to one slide

I am currently trying to arrange a sound file and a few picture files on to
one slide. The outcome I am looking for is pictures changing in the same
position as the sound file plays along on the same slide. BUT it dosn't seem
to be working, either the sound file plays and only one picture appears or
multiple pictures show and no sound file. I have tried to rearrage the custom
animations of the pictures and sound file. PLEASE HELP.
This is currently what I have.

SOUND FILE (start with prev)
Pic1(FADE, entrance start with prev)
Pic1(FADE, exit after previous)
Pic2(FADE, entrance with prev)
Pic2(FADE, exit after prev)
Pic3(FADE, entrance start with prev)
Pic3(FADE, exit after previous) ETC..................

I've tried various different positions and can't seem to find a solution

Did you see my answer to your post earlier? You will need to do the
animation using the animation time line. The problem with the list you
provide is that the exit animation for the first picture will not occur
until after the music. Email me off group and I will send you the sample
file. (Make sure you remind me what you need from me. It is being one of
those days.)

Maybe you can help me. I am having the same problem. I have a sound file to
play in @14 slides, but the pictures on the 1st slide won't come on because
they seem to be waiting for the sound to end. I have the 1st picture to
start with previous and the others after previous, but they all seem to use
the sound file as previous.... can you help?
