I am using Micro soft "MovieMaker" as my video editing prog'
But I don't seem able to add my own voice over the video. I'm using a microphone which is plugged into the rear of my computer, which is running WindowsXP Home. When I speak into the mic nothing happens. I presume some sort of wave image of the voice ought to to show,am I right? But nothing shows up. So how do I add sound to my videos.
Many thanks

Do you have the microphone selected as record device in Sound Volume Properties and have the volume slider turned up?
