adding screen saver

On my former computer (Windows ME) I had a funy screen saver
(Hilbert.scr). I tried to install it on my XP, but it would't succeed.
The only way to make a new scree saver appears to be adding pictures.
But just a scr-file? Can anybody help me?

Hi Anne,

A .scr file is an executable, just like .exe, .com, or .bat (or a number of
others). You can try just copying the .scr file into your
C:\Windows\system32 directory to see if it works, but keep in mind that like
any executable it has to be compatible with the operating system
environment.

Thank you. I tried it; it's not the same, although this one is nice too.
To inform you: I got an error message as follows.

Application-defined or object-defined error
Module name: server.bas
ProcedureName: main.

Bye,
Anne
