Adding months to a given date

I know how to create a calculated field that shows the resulting date found
by adding a number of days to a date in a query -
text1:[service_date]+30 will create a calculated field that will add 30 days
to the date in the field [service_date]

I would like, instead, to be able to add 1 month or 3 months to that
[service_date]. So 1/7/05 + 1 month would become 2/7/05 and 2/7/05 + 1 month
would be 3/7/05 (keeping the day number but adding 1 to the month number).
Adding 30 days doesn't work unless the month has 30 days in it :)

I am using Access 2000.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot - it works great and is so simple. The built-in help only
mentions days with no reference to using "m" for months.
