Adding macro to toolbar

M

Ms T

Hi, I have created macros and would like users to access them from the Word
Ribbon. Currently I can put the macros in the Quicklink toolbar.

Questions
1. How can I put icons of the new macros on the toolbar so that it is
available to all users.

2. Alternatively how can I ensure that macros that I have put in the
Quicklink in the normal.dotm on my system can be shared company wide?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you have access to Word 2003 (or earlier) and you create a toolbar in
your template in that version, when the template (or addin) is loaded in
Word 2007, the buttons from the toolbar will appear in the Add-in tab of the
Ribbon.

Our company is changing over to Office 2007, so I would need to know how to
do in this Word version, instead of switching systems all the time.

I did try that. I'll try again.

By the way Pam you are able to change the icons for macros....word
options>customise>macros>modify. When you get the modify you can change the
name of the macro and the icon used.

Hello Doug,

I created the toolbar in Word 2003 and indeed they have come across as
add-ins in Word 2007. The problem I'm having is that I have a message that
pops up and said that the macros have been disabled or removed. I've taken
off the security but that doesn't make any difference.

Any ideas?
