Adding custom files to tht Textures area

D

Denise

Hello

We are using MS Office 2002 SP3 on Windows 2000 V5 SP4.

One of my users has come to me with a question about textures. I'm not
great with PowerPoint so thought I'd give the NGs a go. I've already
looked on the Web for an answer but haven't found one yet.

We have a corporate colour scheme for charts in PowerPoint, which we need
all staff to use. My user wants to be able to add small .jpg files
containing the different tones and shades of these corporate colours to the
list of textures built in to PowerPoint so that every time a user wants to
create a chart the custom colours are within easy reach.

Is there an area on the c:\drive where these files could be stored and
would automatically add themselves to the list of textures when a template
is used? Or is there another way to achieve the same result? I've
actually given the user 2 alternatives already but she's insistent that it
should be done this way if possible.

I'd appreciate any thoughts/suggestions.

Many thanks

I can understand why the user would want it done in a way that makes choosing
the textures consistent with the normal way of doing it.

Unfortunately, it's not possible, though it'd be great if it were.

That's a shame. But at least I can give her a definitive answer.

Thanks very much Steve.
