I have an amount of 7300 and I have to add 10% GST to this amount then for years 2 and 3 I have to add 3.1% CPI. I know adding 10% to 7300 is 8030. Not sure if I should be also adding 10% and 3.1% to years 2 and 3 - or is this already included from year 1. I have no idea how to do this.
I think I should be multiply monthly rent by 12 to calculate yearly rent - but how do I add CPI of 3.1% also/
Any help would be appreciated

Year Monthly rent + GST Yearly rent + GST
1 7300+
2 (plus 3.1% CPI)
3 (plus 3.1% CPI)

This sounds more like a US tax query rather than an Excel query, I don't know anything about US taxes I'm afraid :(

Unless you're asking about what calculation you need? To multiply in Excel you use the * symbol
