adding a workstation thru vpn

I need to add a workstation at a remote site to a domain thru a vpn. The
remote site, 192.168.2.x, can see the main office, 192.168.1.x, but when
trying to add the worstation I keep coming up with an error that the domain
can't be found. What can I do to overcome this problem and get my network
inline?

A quick and easy thing is to set the preferred DNS server as the DNS server
for your domain (the private IP address of your work DNS server), and the
secondary as a public DNS server.

Ok Kurt, I'll be sure to give that a try. If I recall I tried using the
private dns server as my primary but I'll try it again. Thanks alot.
