Added an account in outlook

Hi

I am wanting to add an account in outlook so i can access my e-mails from
outlook instead of going to the internet way.

I have an e-mail account with hotmail, and yahoo. What are the steps i need
to do this, to add the hotmail and yahoo e-mail account to outlook

i didn't mention in the past e-mail that i have Outlook 2000, so its a
different way to set up an account, with the other version i know how to set
it up, but with 2000 i don't know how.

Outlook 2000 cannot access Hotmail. It may not be able to access Yahoo!
unless you have POP/SMTP server information for that.

Can you set up Yahoo account on a higher version of outlook?

Reports are that this will work only for the paid Yahoo! accounts in the

Thanks for the help everyone, i was able to get my account from yahoo to
work in outlook.

I am not going to worry about hotmail, if it won't work.

The solutions were mentioned in the very message you quoted. Did you read
them?

If youre Yahoo! account is not a paid account, you can't get your mail with
Outlook without a third party tool like http://yahoopops.sourceforge.net/
