Add/Remove Programs

I am receiving the following error message when I go to
add/remove programs:

An unexpected error occurred
Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment
res://sp3res.dll/default.hta
Line: 84

I fixed the problem by reinstalled the operating system
(only)but the problem is occurring again after reboot.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Go to :
Start > Run... > type "chkdsk /f/r" (no quotes)
This takes one and one-half hours.

Actually, you didn't need to reinstall...the first two
steps in this KB article solved this problem for me:
