add/remove programs

I go to my change/remove programs and am trying to remove a program that is
causing problems called "my webb smiley central". I click the box to remove
it, but it just opens a blank window nothing in it?? It won't allow me to
remove it and it doesn't say why? I believe this is some kind of virus?? not
sure

AM lost here!! Can anyone assist me?

Hi Trish,

Smiley central is spyware. Here are a few apps that will hopefully
remove it.
Ad-aware is a free multi spyware removal utility that scans
your memory, registry and hard drives for known spyware
components and lets you remove them safely. After installing
Ad-Aware make sure to run the update feature before scanning.

spyware and such, it may be necessary to run Ad-Aware several
times to clear them all.

SpywareBlaster doesn't scan and clean for spyware - it
