add remove program

my add/remove program under >my computer>add or remove programs. list
populates as it should but there is no tab to actually add or remove. only on
1 or 2 of the programs has the tab to do this but none of the others do.

If you look down the left side of the window, you will see an icon used for
adding programs. Although it is there, I have never used it, I usually let
the programs own installer do the adding to that list.

However, I ALWAYS use it to un-install software, provided it is listed there
of course. If it's not I simply shift-delete the folder and then run a reg
editing tool to clear any cut links.

I know what you're talking about on the left hand side, but there is no tab
to actually add/remove like there is normally on the right hand side?
