Add Mirror Dimmed

Im trying to add a software raid 1 to my windows 200
computer and the add mirror selection is dimmed.
There are two drives on the computer and even amount of
space on each, both dynamic. What am I doing wrong?

Are you using Win2000 Server? Mirroring is not supported on Win2000 Pro.

One of the disks must have free unformatted, unpartitioned disk space at
least as large as the volume you want to mirror. Also, see this MS

I have done a Raid 1 and Raid 0 on a windows 2000 pro pc.
You can not put Raid 5 on pro. That is only available for
server.
