add-ins

I have downloaded and installed the Default Slide Layout add-in. However,
when I try to add it to the add-ins list in Powerpoint it nothing happens! I
have located the correct add-in file on my hard drive - I can see the .ppa
file, I select it, click OK - and am taken back to the Add dialogue box still
with no add-ins listed. Can someone please help me work this out?

Check the macro security level - it should be set to medium or low for the
add-in to get listed with PowerPoint. See

Thank you for such a prompt - and useful - answer. Problem solved. Thanks
also for the add-in. I haven't used PowerPoint all that often in recent
times - partly because I always got annoyed having to remove the "click to
add title / click to add text" boxes!
