AD Replication

Does AD use the "FRS" service to replicate data to
the other DC's in the enteprise? I'm wondering because in
my event log I am getting "the file replication service
is having trouble enableing replication from "server A"
to "server B" I've noticed lately that some GP's that I
recently set up seem to not be working on several
computers. Thanks in advance.

Hi Steve -

Active Directory does not use FRS for the replication of Active Directory
objects (such as user objects, groups, etc). However, FRS is used to
replicate the data in the SYSVOL directory, which stores the Group Policy
settings.
