You have to download the latest version of the Adware program. There are no
updates available for the old version now.

I also had the same problem, took me while to figure that I needed
to update the main Ad-Aware software before updating works again...
When you download new version Ad-Aware from their web-site, it has
that 13 Sept update included.

Ofcourse I did update my reference files, clicked the update -button
to check if any updates were available often... But in this case the
updates STOPPED WORKING, you needed to update the main program first
before being able to update.
