Anyway, I've done a manual download and update and am testing.

Interestingly I see you downloaded manually Tim. Have you been receiving
receiving an `error retrieving update` message from within the application?

Yes, that is the message I am getting, I assume your are getting it too?

No Apparent False Alarms.

Yes I am. Like yourself I`m thinking it may be server or possibly the file
transfer is corrupt in some way. Mine starts to retrieve and then stops at 5%.

Same here. What's interesting is that I've already updated! I'm not
getting any message indicating that. The problems must be in the
"connection" as if I could connect it would tell me I was up to date (no
update available, or something like that)

After accepting to D/L the update SE1R150 09.02.2007.

The update come really super slow, probably for the server overload.

But after the D/L and checking the Details, I found to have this:

Unfortuneately I ended up downloading and installing manually from the web
site link provided so now Ad-Aware tells me there are `No Update Components`
available. However, here`s what I am showing now.

Quite different from you. Sounds as if the wrong file was placed on the
server or something. Whatever the reason lavasoft have not been without
their problems today. Wonder if it may have had something to do with their
new web site which they posted today?

change, so who knows what happen with Ad-Aware or the servers.

I went back to check for updates, and this time I get another D/L and the
Details are the same as yours.

So evrething is "normal" again. ;-)
