I'm not trying to be a wise guy and I probably missed the updates about the
efficacy of the product, but the last time I recall anything about AdAware,
it was said this product did virtually nothing except get rid of cookies. Is
that still the case?

If so, why do we even bother talking about, updating and /running something
that is so impotent? Did I miss the memo?

Ad-aware *is* a great application, _if_ configured correctly.
