Ad-Aware and SpywareBlaster

For those having trouble with the MSAS beta software, I
would recommend running Ad-Aware and SpywareBlaster. Both
are free software, and both are very good. I have been
running SpywareBlaster (which gives real time protection)
for the past 2 months, and it seems to stop most of the
spyware (including cookies, which MSAS beta does not
check). I just ran Ad-Aware (last time was about 1 month
ago), and it found nothing !!! That means SpywareBlaster
is doing a good job. I was always getting data-miner
cookies previously.

Please remember, This is Beta and beta testing should be the main goal of
those who use it at this time. If you have issues, as mentioned in this
thread, there are other free non-beta applications for protection and
removal. But if you need reliable protection and are not doing beta testing
and willing to deal with bugs, I would recommend another product at this
time.

Yes, you should run additional antispyware utilities along with MSAS, it
clearly a beta product and should not used as a one stop solution in a
production environment. The aim is get feedback to help improve the product,
whether it is in a test or production environment.
