Ad-aware 2007 Definition Update 14.12.07

"SE" Users may manually update using this zip file -
http://download.lavasoft.com/public/defs.zip

Thanks Randy. I've installed updates manually for a couple of weeks now, and
the current definitions are recorded correctly on the main panel of the
GUI - however, today when I started up AdAware SE (after manually updating
the defs), it flagged up a warning that my definitions were 730,485 days
old (!!).

I also now have a red warning on the GUI panel saying the defs may be out of
date, even though a couple of inches above the defs are correctly stated.

Is this happening to anyone else?

To all users still running Ad-aware SE, Alan.
Open the UI, click on the "cog wheel" - click on the General Tab - "x" out the
Definitions Prompt - click on Proceed - close Ad-aware.

730,485 puts you back in the stone age doesn't it? ;o)

Not quite, Dave. Roman Empire, in fact. When Hadrian's Wall was just a
twinkle in the Emperor's eye, AdAware was there before him, pushing out
signatures.

Not many people know that.

Of course! Thank you Randy!

OK been there, done that. The splash screen that takes us back to the Roman
Empire has gone, but the red warning remains. Guess it's the price we have
to pay .....

I think it may be happening to everyone one still running the older version.

Ah, well it was neo-lithic over here in the new world, but all roads lead
to Rome, I suppose.

This glitch has now been fixed. Just download the (new) file and replace the
old one with it.
