ActiveX pop up on every screen on internet

How do I stop the Activex pop-up from appearing on EVERY
page I go to on the internet? I also have a messenger pop
up that I can't get rid of. I followed the instruction
under XP help.

For the Messenger pop-up: I had the same problem.
Your internet connection is wide open to attack!!!!!!!!

Follow Doug Knox advices to activate your Internet Connection Firewall and
configure it.

Simple procedure: Control Panel/ Network Connections / right click on the
line in LAN or High Speed Internet / Properties / Advanced / check the
checkbox: I want protection, it makes your Internet Connection Firewall
(ICF) active / Settings / check the checkboxes for services you want to get
through of your active ICF (usually all offered boxes).

If you succeed, help others with similar problems, pass them the solution.
