ActiveX controls - raiseerror

I have developed an ActiveX control in VB6 that uses the
RAISEERROR method to pass events to the active server
page that contains it. This works fine everywhere except
a few client machines. The control is downloaded fine,
just doesn't raise the event in the ASP.

Anybody know of any reason (IE settings ?) why this just
affects some machines?

Sorry, i meant RAISEEVENT, not raiseerror
