ActiveSync 4 will not connect to my Treo 700w

Hi,

I have a Treo 700w, and it will not establish a solid link with
activesync/my computer.

I have windows XP, firewalls off, activesync 4. Treo w/ windows mobil 5

Sometimes it will sync for a few seconds, or just sit for 5 minutes.
