Active scripting and security zones

I'm trying to use a particular site I put in my Trusted Zone, but some
javascript within that page refuses to work unless I enable Active
Scripting in the Internet Zone. Once I do this, and the javascript
fires, the Privacy Report shows there is no content from any sites
other than the one generating the pages. What else must I do with my
security settings to have this site work without enabling active
scripting in the Internet Zone?

I have the site covered in my Trusted Zone as follows:

http://*.gov.bc.ca

and its actual addres is: gww.eforms.gov.bc.ca

Thanks for any ideas you might have,

Terry

Hi,
You might try "Prompt" for Active Scripting in the Internet Zone.

Or try this. On the trusted sites page uncheck "Require server verification
(https:) for all sites" then add *.gov.bc.ca
The http:// in http://*.gov.bc.ca is unnecessary and might be causing the
problem.

Hope this helps,
Don

Thanks for the tips, Don.

The "Prompt" setting for Active Scripting under the Internet Zone
certainly allows me to use the site, but do you have any explanation
of why this would be required in this case?

Regards,

Alder
