We have 1 forest with 2 domains. First domain is prod.local and in other
tree syst.local. The first domain prod.local (root forest) has 2 DC and sys
t.local has 2 DC too.
The Sch Master and Dom. Name Master is dc1.prod.local.
In prod.local domain, the RID, PDC Emu, and IM roles resides over the DC's i
n prod.local.
In syst.local, the RID, PDC Emu, and IM roles resides over DC's in syst.loca
l.

I need move all servers, DC, resources, accounts .. over syst.local, but ho
w can i move all objects from the root domain to syst.local? (enterprise adm
in ..) How can i delete the root forest domain? Can i migrate the root role
s such as schema master, and domain name master?

TIA

Ok, lets claryfi few things:
- You have two domains in one forest but in separated trees, prod.local
and syst.local
- The prod.local was the first domain introduced in the network and all
the forest role are assigned to the DC in this domain

Your goal is to move all resources to syst.local and get rid of
proc.local domain completly.

OK, the answer is - You can migrate all resources to the new domain but
You can't get rid of root forest domain - You will have to preserve at
least one DC from the prod.local

If You want to get rid completly from this desing You will have to
create new domain - for example temp.local in the separate forest, then
migrate all resources form this two domains to this new domain, delete
both old domains and then rename this new domain to the proper name (of
course in Windows 2003 environment)

Hi again.
that's a problem. If i demote al DC's in the domain
prod.local (root) all FSMO roles can't go over syst.local?
If i migrate to w2003AD can i do anything more with this
domains?

Thanks in advance again.
