Active Directory 2003 working with Exchange 5.5

J

Joel Kaminsky

I'm looking for a newsgroup that I can talk with people on this subject. I
need to be able to add my Exchange 5.5 server to AD 2003.

Thank you in advance.

5.5 has its own db they don't integrate. You should consider upgrading to
2000 or 2003.

Correct, Exchange 5.5 asks like a regular machine in Active Directory, it
does not make a difference to Exchange whether the domain is NT or AD. And
AD does not care about 5.5, at all - in fact Microsoft has dropped support
for 5.5.

Cheers,

Rod

Can I move the Exchange 5.5 over the the Active Directory Domain once I
completed my migration by adding the server to the domain? I don't think
this could be possible
