Activation?

I am running Windows Xp Professional Service Pack 1. I use an admin account
for installing programs and doing maintenance and use a limited account for
everyday activities. I noticed that on my limited account in System
information in "System tools" group in "Accessories" that it says that my
activation is pending and that I have 30 days remaining. When I saw this I
logged out and went into my admin account and looked at the same part.
There was no activation pending. I typed "oobe/msoobe /a" to check if
windows was activated. It said windows was already activated. Why does my
limited account think windows isn't activated yet? Thanks in advanced for
any help anyone can give me.

Obviously this account of your is limited in intelligence as well as
functionality. Hopefully it will smarten up before the 30 days
expire. :)

From this account try repairing the registration data for the .DLL
files used by activation.

Use Start- Run and enter the following text in the dialog box:
regsvr32.exe regwizc.dll

Then do it again with the following text:
regsvr32.exe licdll.dll

Good luck
