ok í´ve just installled windows xp home edition PT bought
a few months, but in the mean time due to worms/spyware
that threaten the Internet i had to reinstall windows a
lot of times lately, and i´ve used up the 5 times i could
activate windows that because windows Xp is completely
full of bugs/backdoors and whatever more product support
saythat i have to buy a new CD-Key, no way i´m gonna buy
a new key so i´m requesting a new CD-Key, since i´ve been
able to make all the windows updates this time thing i
couldn´t do because of the "system shutdown in 50 seconds
error" this is all your fault BUGS BUGS AND MORE BUGS no
wonder ppl are starting to prefer Linux, since it runs
faster and does everything windows can do, and it´s
becoming so popular that software is being programmned
for both windows and linux... if u guys don´t give a new
key i´ll just have to crack this up ... i bet there must
be a crack to this somewhere maybe i should try and find
it and start spreading it!!!!

You don't 'run out' of activations due to just reinstalling. You run out of
activations by attempting to activate on too many machines with different
hardware specs.

Anyway, try this one ...

Fernando,

Too many people think badly of Microsoft as a consequence
of their own stupidity. I certainly agree that there are
myriads of viruses, worms, spyware and trojans
circulating the Internet waiting to infect your
computer. That is why there is antivirus software and
antispyware progams. If you bothered to use them you
would haven't reinstall Windows "a lot of times."

Starting fresh is always a good idea. Take your
computer, lift it off your desktop and carry it to your
room's recycle bin and forget about it.

Go out and buy a new computer with Windows XP SP2 already
installed. Oh and maybe the book "Windows for Dummies"
may help.

Hope this helps.

I don't know, maybe Linux is the answer for this guy. It doesn't have
to be activated. Windows viruses don't affect it. He could probably
spend three lifetimes figuring it out. Linux ng's would have no problem
ignoring him.

Seems like the way to go.

The CD-key would be called sarcasm ... to the OP!!

Not that it matters. It was a totally fake, spoofed CD-key, that just
contains a sarcastic message!!)

Dick,

Sounds like the right prescription to me. The other
advantage is that when he has problems with Linux, he
won't be posting on this NG !

secure YOUR computer!

Is English a second or third language for you? If so, may I
suggest that you try posting your question in a news group dedicated
to your native language? I say this not to insult or offend, but
rather to point out that you're not likely to get much help, if no one
can understand what you're saying or asking.

Otherwise, I'd suggest you start by reposting in standard English,
complete with paragraphs, sentences, capital letters where
appropriate, and punctuation. As it is, your post is quite
undecipherable: many of the words you've used are from the English
language, but are absolutely meaningless as you've currently assembled
them.

Taking a wild guess at what was meant:

There's no limit to the number of times you can reinstall and
activate the same WinXP license on the same PC. Nor is there ever a
charge. If it's been more than 120 days since you last activated
that specific Product Key, you'll most likely be able to activate via
the Internet without problem. If it's been less, you might have to
make a 5 minute phone call.

Here are the facts pertaining to activation:

If the OP can't manage to maintain something as simple as a
Windows OS, he'll never learn to handle Linux.
