activating Windows within MAC

Andrija Zic

My American relative sent me CD disks for installing Virtual PC for MAC,
version 6.1.

I installed it on my PowerBook G4. A pop-note warning asks me to activate
Windows within a month (at present 5 days only remain).

Unfortunately I could not make the Virtual PC to connect with the Internet,
so I cannot activate Windows online.

Neither I can phone to activate Windows, because I am deaf.

What to do now? Is there any possibility to activate by e-mail. I can send
Product key and all information necessary - is this possible and WHAT E-
MAIL ADDRESS where to ask activation? Thanks! A.Zic, Zagreb, Croatia

Microsoft does offer Text Telephone activation
<http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs
/en-us/wpa_tt_tty_activation.mspx>

Hope this helps! bill

Hi,
This reply may be too late, but it MIGHT be possible for a friend to
download the application files from the Windows site onto a floppy or
CD and use that to transfer it onto your Mac. You might also be able
to do that on a library computer. Can you get online via ethernet
connection at a hotel, library, or school? If you let any one of
these know your problem, they may be willing to help.
