Activating PowerPoint application

I'm running a macro from Powerpoint that opens excel and does some things
within excel to copy to PowerPoint. I'd like to be able to activate
PowerPoint again and I've been able to use AppActivate("Microsoft
PowerPoint") when I do this in Excel, but have been unsuccessful in
PowerPoint. Can someone assist?

In PowerPoint macro, you should be able to execute Application.Activate to
activate the PowerPoint application.
