Hi Steven. Thank you for making this small, and independent (local ini).

I've just run it, and have something for your todo list. It's that there
is no prompt to save a currently loaded new or changed file, when one uses
File>Open menu. (The prompt is only there upon File>New).

Lightning fast update, as per usual!

A next thing. I notice that this displays text immediately against the
left border of the window. I think it's more common to have a small bit of
indent space, eg Win32pad. Instead of none, eg Kankowski Edit. (There's also
the occasional type of case, in a couple of the big "programmer's editors,"
where they let you specify that amount of space Calling it "left gutter
indent" or some similar.)

I am slightly more used to a small indent area in the display. Although
it's a very slight preference. And main: I've no guess what most people
prefer on that.

Re, the fonts settings. They save fine here. The only way I can think to
duplicate the scenario of not being saved, it's were there multiple
instances open at the time of changing options. For that situation, I
expect it'd be natural for the last-closed instance to do the last write
to the ini.

Oh, Steven, I had a novelty/small thought for this program. Came to me
based on this program's name. It's this:

Under the Help Menu, you place a command to open Pricelessware.CHM.

I have a recently compiled copy of the pricelessware site. (The full thing.
I plan to look shortly into a chm of only PL2004.) But if given that you
had any interest in doing that, adding a command to open a pricelessware
chm from the text editor...we'd then of course have to convince Susan for
permission.

Just guessing in advance, I expect she would not immediately direct an army
of attorneys to my door for content theft. Yet the bigger barrier would be
whether she could accept the idea of a snapshot-in-time copy of something
(PL site) that is quite dynamic, changed regularly.

Dunno... And too, it's just a passing idea, don't know if it would hold any
interest at all...

I've updated ACF Notes with a small indent so it's not so pressed against
the side of the main window (also indented the actual textbox itself).

Thanks for letting me know. This one is actually bugging the life out of me
as there has to be a reason for Mike's experiencing the bug.

Aslong as Susan agree's, I see no harm in adding a menu item for it
(probably along the line's of the Help > Contents menu, whereby, it detects
whether the file is there or not).

Cheesh!!! Group Decision! Group Decision! it's not *my* decision to make
.. . . start a thread for this if you want to get permission from the
group . . .

but . . . several of the web pages are PHP, you'd lose the sorting
ability - and the PL site always has the most current info. IMO
including a link to the PL site would be a better way to go. Just my 2
cents worth. :)

It certainly makes more sense to use a link instead (mainly because of the
format of the pages). I'm not sure which format Karen is planning to use for
the CHM file........?
