account retriction??

i am having a problem with logging on Windows Xp. when i
restart my computer and enter my name and password, a
message comes up that says i cannot log in due to and
account restriction. i looked up this problem on a
troubleshoot page and it says that i have a null password
and just need to register for a new one. but my problem is
that mine is the only account on the computer, so i have
no way of logging on at all to access this option. does
anyone have any ideas on what i can do???

XP Home - boot to safe mode and log into the hidden administrator account.
Then reset your password on your user account.
Xp Pro - ctrl-alt-del twice at the welcome screen, log into the hidden
administrator account. Then reset your password on your user account.
