Account order in left pane

I am using Outlook 2007 for email from my ISP and I have the Hotmail
Connector installed to read/manage my Hotmail.

In the left pane of the window in the Mail Folders section, the hotmail
account shows at the top and the ISP account under it.

Is there any way to change this order so that the ISP account is at the top
of the list above the Hotmail account? It's not critical but I would prefer
it that way if possible. BTW, the ISP account is set as the default to send
mail from.

Are they in alphabetical order? If so, rename the display name for the isp
account.

Ah so that's how they're listed. I feel pretty dumb now. The listing for the
ISP account is Personal Folders and so I changed it to my ISP name which is
lower alphabetically than my hotmail account name, closed and re-opened
Outlook, but the hotmail account is still listed first in the Mail Folders
pane. So the hotmail account, being a connector-type account, must have to be
listed first by Outlook.

Thanks for the idea though as I hadn't thought of renaming.

Click Tools>Account Settings and choose the Data Files tab. Which data store
is listed as default?

That was it! The hotmail was listed as the default. As soon as I changed it
to the ISP account, that one moved to the top of the list. I should have
thought of that but didn't this time.

Thank you!

Jonathan
