Accessing the built in Administrator account

I need to access the the built in administrator acount on my pc however when
i try to log on it says " unable to log you on because of an account
restriction".

i know that technically you cant access the Administrator account unless all
other user accounts have been deleted so i tried this but i cant delete the
last of my user accounts (all have admin access) as there is no delete
option. i think i may be able to get rid of it using the registary but i am
not too familiar with this. can you please help!!!!

Thanks in advance Harry

Have you checked to see if the account has been disabled?

No, that's not true, at all. By design, the only way to log into the
Administrator account of WinXP Home is to reboot into Safe Mode. For
WinXP Pro, pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL twice at the Welcome Screen will
produce the standard login dialog box.

You don't say what version you are running, but as the previous poster told
you, in home ed. you have to be in safe mode to login as administrator.
