Accessing folders that are password protected

I have had my motherboard go faulty and have replaced the M/B together with a
new hard drive. The old hard is used as a slave with the new setup. How do I
access the folders on the slave drive (old) that once required a user name
and password at logon.

If they were encrypted using EFS and you didn't save the certificates, well,
you don't. They're gone for good.

If they were just in your profile then they still have their permissions set
to someone other than you you.
