Does anyone know ... How do I access a compressed
DriveSpace/DoubleSpace drive (Created with MS-DOS 6.x)
from Windows XP Professional?

Mount the drive on a DOS 6 or Windows 98 computer and
decompress the drive.

You don't. As the previous poster noted, you'll need the exact same OS and
Drivespace that was used to create it to access it.

From within XP, you don't. DriveSpace/DoubleSpace volumes are not
readable or supported under XP.

You don`t. You MUST uncompress the drive on a old system that
compressed it in the first place. XP does not support Drive/Double
space compressed drives.
