Access2002 crashes when referencing the application object in code

Hello,

My Access2002 always crashes whenever I reference the
application object in code (Application.(somethign)). The
first time i reference it, the intellisence doesn't show
up. The second time I reference it, the applications
freezes and gives this error:

Microsoft Access has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

--Error signature
AppName: msaccess.exe AppVer: 10.0.6501.0 ModName:
vbe6.dll
ModVer: 6.4.99.69 Offset: 00055202



I've done all the office xp updates from microsoft. I
tried uninstalling office xp and re-installing it and I'm
still having problems. I even tried uninstalling access
2002 and putting in access2000, but even that doesn't
work.

Can anyone help please??

You first want to make sure that you have the latest service packs applied
for Access 2002 and for Jet. I included links below.
