Access with multiple users hangs on screen save.

I have a freind who uses Access 2003. Depending on who logged on
first their screen saver causes the db to stop working.

Here is what happens.

1. Person A. starts access and opens db. The db is on a remote
computer.
2. Person B. then starts and opens db.
3. When person A's computer screensaver comes on then it stops B from
accessing the db.

This works in reverse as well eg B opens db, A then opens db if B's
screen saver comes on it hangs the DB. The only answer is to have the
person who started the db exit from it.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Split the database into a front end and back end. Place the back end, which
includes only the tables and relationships, on the shared network server,
and place a copy of the front end, which includes querie, forms, reports, et
cetera, on each user's workstation. For more
