Access VBE - 16bit or 32bit

Can anyone tell me if the Visual Basic Editor (VBE) within
Microsoft Access 2000/2002 and Microsoft Word 2000/2002 is
a 16-bit or 32-bit application?

The reason I am asking is, my logitech scroll wheel will
not scroll within the VBE, and the Logitech support tech's
are saying that it is a 16-bit application, which is why
it will not scroll. With a Microsoft Mouse, the scroll
wheel works fine, but the Logitech doesn't. I wanted to
verify this before going any further with their support.

Actually not all microsoft mouse drivers will work in the
VBA editor either.

The best solution I've found is a very nice freeware program
called FreeWheel.

Thanks for the suggestion, however, I cannot install any
3rd party tools where I am contracting at.

I will try and post another question being a little more
specific with regards to the Mouse Wheel.
