Access Runtime Problem

I just installed Access Runtime 2007 and then I tried to open a database
built with
Access 2000. I can see nothing, but when I click on the ribbon one of my
choices is close database, which would mean there is a database open I just
can not see it??

Any help would be great.
Thanks

The runtime environment is different than regular Access. In the
startup options for your database select a form to open. And modify
that form to offer choices for whatever you want to allow the user to
to. Then, in the run time, that form should open at startup an serve as
the user's starting point for your application.

Is that when I make a MDE file in Access?
If so yes I did and I could not open it either.

Okay How do I figure out if the developer forgot to set the startup form?
Is this something I have to build?
Is there a tutorial on getting your db ready to view in a runtime environment?
