Access records link to mp3 files.

My music library is listed in Access XP (2002 SP3). I have all the music
tracks in mp3 format in a folder, file numbers corresponding to record
numbers in Access.
Can I somehow link the database to the mp3 files so I need only click a
button in the database to listen to the mp3. I currently use Winamp Pro for
my music playback.
Cheers for any positive response

Hi Ron,

The database sample is designed to allow you to link files ON YOUR COMPUTER.
The only link in that sample is to a file on the developer's machine, which
you very well may not have (I don't).

Did you actually try double-clicking in the second column, last row of the
form that opens up to start the linking process?

I downloaded and tested both versions again and they work fine, at least for
me.

Thanks for all your help CW, but I've put the project in the "too hard
basket". I'm about to experiment with the same project in Excel, and if
that's to dissicult, I'll set it up as a web page(s) where I know links will
work.
Cheers buddy

I downloaded the SetHyperlink2k zipped file, and when I ran it, it contained
more links to sites. These links did not function. I'm back to square 1.

Would you please tell me where to find this "Rogers Access Library" that
contains the sample database 'SetHyperlink'.
Tried the 'Search For:' window, but without success.
Kind Regards
