I would like to create a form to manage a queue of customers to a clinic
by
setting the meeting with the doctor on the calender.
I didn't find any add in that will be like an outlook calender.
Well, I know a good number of Doctor offices, Lawyer's office, Chiropractors
offices that all use Outlook for their scheduling of patients into that
calendar.
So, often Outlook is a fine solution. (none of the above companies did any
custom coding...but just used the daytime features of outlook). (sure, some
will type in the customer name into the contacts part).
I also know a number of small restaurants that also use Outlook (along with
a nice flat screen mention at the front reception).
So, perhaps you can use outlook?
If you must use ms-access, then it is VERY ease to whip up a calendar
display system in ms-access (an afternoon is usually sufficient). And, you
can find a number of ready made and examples in ms-access here:
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/calendars.htm
However, making the calendar functional and making it do something is going
to be some real work "EVEN" when you got good sql skills, and good VB coding
skills.
