My computer has a second hard drive, the C drive, which I use to store my
data. I had this C drive shared across the network, but have recently
removed network sharing on it. Now I cannot use Windows Explorer to access
the C drive from any of the local accounts on the computer, including the
administrator account. The message I get is:
"C:/
Access is denied."
I have shortcuts still working to sub directories in the C drive. Clicking
on a shortcut in any account takes me to the sub directory. I can navigate
from the sub directory up to "My Computer", but once there I cannot navigate
back into the top directory on the C drive.
Can anyone tell me how to restore access to the top level directory of my C
drive?
