I have developed a Microsoft Access application that is running on
several computers. On one or two of the computers the forms I've
developed get all messed up. The font becomes very large, blocky and
truncated (because my controls are no longer big enough to house the
large text).
I used the default font (Tahoma) to build the forms and I've not
changed any of the font settings as I dragged and dropped controls
onto the forms. I've checked the problem computers and they have the
Tahoma font installed.
Has anyone else experienced this, or know why my forms are getting
distorted on one or two computers?
My application is split in the usual way; the back end contains all
the tables and data and is shared on a server, while the front end
contains all the forms, queries and reports and is installed on
individual laptops and linked to the back end. The front end is
compiled as an MDE and the whole application uses Access security with
an MDW. All databases are Access 2002-2003 file format.
Thanks in advance,
Philip
