What can be done about this one? I get it from the start menu about every
second time, but when I'm using a shortcut on yhe desktop I do fine. Access
2003 running on terminal server with windows 2003

The message is "Access failed to start correctly last time. Starting Access
in safe mode will help you correct or isolate a startup prolem in order to
successfully start the program. Some functionality may be disabled in thi
smode. Do you want to start Access in safe mode? YN "

Ronny,

Couple of questions...

What is the path on the shortcut menu?
Are you sharing a front end?
How do you log out of the database and Terminal Services?

Okay, more like a few questions but it might help to trobuleshoot your
issue. Please note, Aaron will answer with SQL Server no matter if it is
relevant to your issue or not.

Gina;

likewise, you and all the other people around here try to scare people
away from SQL-- so that more peolpe are on this sinking boat.

Jet is definitely a boat that is sinking--
people -- users and developers-- would be better off if everyone
upsized to free SQL Server
