Access does not close

I have a user who can not close MS Access 97. I've searched Knowledge base
and found two articles 190074 and 164455.

190074, Unable to Quit Microsoft Access discribes the problem exactly,
however I don't think the cause is correct and therefore I can not apply the
resolution.

Even If you just open Access without opening any databases, and then try to
close it, access just minimizes. The only way to close it is to use the
Task Manager.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this.

Have you tried re-installing Access on that user's computer?

Thanks, that is what I was thinking.

It sounds to me that this A97 installation has been corrupted.

Suggest you use the re-install option of the Microsoft Office 97 set-up
program to re-install the software and see if it helps.
