I realise this has been covered before but I have tried everything i can find on the topic and no joy. Now I am confused and angry. 2 of these files are my uni thesis. (I have backups - same issues)
The files are saved as templates (although i have smae problem with others) on my desktop and in a folder on my desk top, they were written by me on my pc, I have admin right of course.
I have tried the following:
Retake file rights / ownership, but security tab is not there
Tried to open as read only
Looked at ennviromentle variables, and temp folder allocation.
In short I can't get anywhere and I have to get this doc in in a week, you can imagine the stress. PLEASE HELP
